A and B show the right side has not worn to the bottom of the tread grooves.C shows one of the leaking splits in a tread groove.D shows that the left side of the tire has worn to the bottom of the tread grooves.

There were at least 5 of these slits or splits around the left side of the tire in the tread grooves. I saw at least three of them leaking air.

another split in a tread groove. This one leaking air.The tire was so flexible (as in thin or weak) that I could squeeze the tread into a fold at the splits, so they opened up as seen in the photos.
