Smoothed the rim edges and polished the rim and spokes.

The outside bearing rests on the axle thread, which are smaller diameter than the axle shank. The bearing spun, eating away the threads.

Axle is a bolt

Grade eight bolt welds cut and new longer bolt installed so both bearings ride on unthreaded part of bolt.
